Ingredients:
DOUGH-
200 g Oat Flour
120 g Rolled Oats
100 g Almond Flour
2 medium bananas (peeled)
3 Tbsp Maple Syrup
CHOCOLATE LAYER-
250 g Dates, Pitted
2 Medium Bananas, Peeled
80 g Peanut Butter
50 g Cocoa Powder
A Pinch Of Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a 9″ x 9″ baking tray with baking parchment paper.
In a food processor, blend all the dough ingredients.
Transfer around 3/4 of the dough to the baking tray and set aside.
To make the chocolate layer, again simply process all the ingredients in a food processor until it resembles and smooth, creamy consistency.
Evenly spread the chocolate layer over the top of the dough.
Crumble the 1/4 of the dough saved over the top of the chocolate layer.
Bake in the oven for around 25 – 30 minutes.
Allow to completely cool before cutting into bars.
Top with some chopped up roasted hazelnuts for decoration and extra taste!
