FUDGE: we love it! I mean, who doesn't? Especially chocolate fudge... This is such a simple recipe and it taste's incredible! Remember, it's raw & vegan and consists of wholesome, nutrient-dense ingredients!
Ingredients:
75g coconut oil
250g cashew butter (or nut butter of choice for example peanut butter)
Pinch of sea salt
75ml maple syrup
45g raw cacao powder
55g granola - you could make your own, or there are some great wholesome vegan granola's out there!
method:
In a sauce pan, add the chosen nut butter & coconut oil. Heat and stir until the mixture is combined and smooth.Add the rest of the ingredients, except the granola, and stir until it's smooth and combined.Then, add in that yummy, crunchy granola and give it a good stir so that it gets thoroughly mixed in!Pour into a lined banana bread tin and place in the freezer until set, then slice into pieces.For and extra treat, drizzle with your favourite nut butter, mixed with some melted coconut oil - although it really doesn't need anything extra... It's delicious as is!
